Tatton Park Classic Car Show.                                21st & 22nd August 2004

Tatton park was a quagmire on the Friday before the event and any idea of cutting the grass prior to the show days had to be abandoned. After a shaky start on the Saturday morning fine weather prevailed for two days and the Tatton Classic Car Show proved as popular as ever with hoards of spectators and enthusiasts of every marque putting in an appearance.
The number of AHC members in attendance was fewer than usual in part due to several regular attendees having headed over the channel to the St Moritz Healey meeting.
John & Jill Bowman joined us in their concours winning BJ8 on the Saturday and it is rumoured that he was made a generous offer for the car by a South African. Tempting though it may have been, the Bowman's were having none of it. Six years of restoration over they have every intention of now enjoying the car on the roads.
Thanks to Ken Broster for his catering efforts on both days.
Next time we are at this venue will be next June with over 100 Healeys expected for the Northern Centre organised national day.
