I have just had my 1959 Frogeye painted from bare metal up by the guys up at Merlin Classics in New Mills, Stockport and I am thoroughly delighted with the finished job. The work included reshaping the rear panels where the new shroud and wings didn't perfectly match, lead loading the A-posts to get a good line across the doors, A-post and front wing, planishing panels and doors for better fit than I could manage, filling and flatting before re-spraying the car in Healey OEW WT03 and lacquer. All in all over 250 hrs work. Alan, Rick and Chris made me very welcome at any time and allowed me to work on the car replacing the running gear in their workshop to help keep the costs down.

· Cylinder Head, original cast iron, modified to fast road spec with big valves. · Cosworth Pistons, +20 complete with rings.
· Front 2.25 inch brake drums complete and with hubs for wire wheels. · Cosworth Pistons, +30.
· Front anti-roll bar complete with brackets and bushes. · DWR aluminium carburettor heat shield.
· Radiator. · DWR aluminium sump guard.
· Starter motor. · Original steering wheel.
· Dynamo. · Rear brake cylinders.
· Complete gears and shafts for four speed gearbox (replaced with straight-cut gears). · Chrome ash tray.
· Inlet manifolds for 1.75 inch carburettors. · Bonnet “Wings” Badge.
· Standard chrome boot rack. · Capesport chrome boot rack, new c/w leather strap.
With the exception of the Capesport Boot Rack all the above are used items but in good re-usable condition. They are available due to many upgrades and improvements made to my A-H 100 BN2. In principle all items are for collection by the purchaser, at a fair negotiated price to be agreed, and are available in Altrincham, South Manchester.
