An excellent turn out from Northern Centre members at the Classic &
Sports car show at Tatton Park over the weekend of 18th.
			& 19th of August.
			Better weather than expected on
the Saturday and warm and sunny conditions on Sunday encouraged our
members to come along and enjoy the usual Northern Centre
Hospitality. The  BBQ was brilliant and about 50 members and friends
were very well fed indeed. Warning do not attend a Northern Centre
do if you are on a diet! Thanks once again to our Chefs and cake
			makers.
It was nice to see the Sprites
were well represented with five Frogeyes and an Austin Sprite.
Larger Austin Healey cars were represented by all models from 100 to
3000 MK111, about twenty cars in all.
The auto jumble was very good this
year and several of our members, especially those from North Wales,
could be seen stuffing their cars with all kinds of merchandise.
Jacqui and Paul could not have purchased  anything because their car
was full to the brim with cake boxes, gas stoves, water containers
and all manner of BBQ support gear, well done.
			Electrical repairs to a certain
Healey 3000, kept both members and spectators entertained during
Sunday afternoon lunch break, owners name not released  but it could
have been billed as "The Three Johns Road Show".
Once again many thanks to all who
contributed food, drinks and hard work to make the weekend so
			enjoyable.
