Manchester Classic Car Show - Event City - 15/16 September 2018


Sprite Display at Event City

The Northern Centre attended this event, the Footman James classic car show at Event City on the 15th and 16th of September 2018. This has become a regular event for the Northern Centre due to the high esteem in which it is held in the classic car world. The event did not disappoint us on this occasion. The theme for our stand was based around the 60th anniversary of the Sprite as you will see from the accompanying photographs. The following members had cars on display

We are very proud of the fact that Steve Higginson’s car won Car of the Show in the Pre-1970 category.

We were supported by other members such as Tony Curran, Bernadette Stonier and Paul and Jacqui Johnson and a very good time was had by all. The special guest was Edd China and as you can see from the photographs both Mike Stonier and Robert Thornburrow managed to get photographs with him.

We would like to thank all the people who helped in setting up the stand which was very impressive and for bringing their cars and making an excellent display.
