Here, amongst the sea of Jaguars, was an Austin Healey 100S, owned by Stephen Owens. Following interviews with Stephen Owens and John Scott Nelson about their experiences in the Mille Miglia in the 100S, the highlight of the day was Stephen started up the 100S. Healey heaven!

Lakes - Despite grim weather forecasts, Holker Hall Classic Car Show went ahead with some glorious weather. Four Northern Centre members ignored the forecast and pitched up at the Show, an early start from Wilmslow (6:30am), meant that Doug McClymont and Phil & Lesley Kershaw were amongst the earliest cars attending. Richard Craig (from Manchester) joined in, but all were outclassed by the enthusiasm of Hugh Barry who had travelled all the way from Edinburgh with his very smart Healey Blue 3000 MkI. Thanks to the Kirby Lonsdale MC for this cracking show in the Lakes.
