Hi ,
I guess you are all getting cars fettled for the summer - I’ve started with a trip to my friend Simon (the MOT tester) which coincided with blue skies and open top weather. His final verdict was a broken exhaust clamp, with me ending up at JP exhausts in Congleton, the fitter, sporting a blue Mohican, took 10 minutes to weld the stainless tube and then tell me he runs the F1 pit at Goodwood, an interesting afternoon.

Neil Munn tests the fit of his Austin-Healey Jamaican (as featured in Revcounter) on a new trailer as it progresses towards the painting stage, always a great point in any rebuild. Let’s hope Neil doesn’t take the roof off when he reverses it into the garage!
Ian Walker’s 100 is making progress at his restoration shop. Ian was keen to understand quite why it takes so long to build a Healey on to a new chassis. To be honest, I guess we all want to understand why every Healey restoration takes three times longer than we think...
