Hi ,
July sees most of us out and about, with better weather and a little sunshine. As I get back from a lovely weekend at Goodwood, Doug and a few other members are making their way down to Classic Le Mans.
The Northern Centre ‘Toolbox’ initiative is now live on our website! Take a trip to the Northern centre website http://www.ahc-northern.org.uk/tools.php where you can see the tools available, in addition to those that can be borrowed from the Thames Valley Centre. The way the ‘Toolbox’ works is that you visit the website, pick the tool you wish to borrow (click on the photo), fill in a form with your details, pay a deposit (which is refundable) plus the cost of postage and packing and the tool is on its way. After use, you return the tool, and the deposit is returned to you - simple and straightforward, even I managed it!
We’ve allocated an annual budget to purchase & expand the tools held by the club. If you have any suggestions for a tool, contact Trevor who runs the scheme on his email: trevor.gammage@ahc-northern.org.uk
