As winter closes in and Doug McClymont finally switches the central heating on, I guess our thoughts turn to Christmas & beyond. Well, we’ve started working on the program for next year and new events are being planned through spring and summer, as usual each TOTN will have a list of events, as will the Northern Centre website.

News from around the North
As ever, the NEC event was a cracker, this year sporting a Healey stand. With lots of Northern Centre members attending, we all had chance to spend some money and dream of cars we’d love to own. Stand out car for our new Northern Centre Secretary, John Zubak, was this Healey 100 restoration, a truly lovely car & we do like that grille!

Practical Classics editorial staff were up North last week for a wintry adventure and were inviting all local classic car owners to join them for an epic run from Windermere to Hawes, (then on to Harrogate for a Practical Classic Quiz). Cumbrian member Steve Ormerod in his Mk3 3000 braved the weather and thoroughly enjoyed the drive, you must have a good heater, Steve!

Pam Garnett from North Wales starred on the front page of the November’s Revcounter after her win at Tatton show. However, 37 years earlier, Pam was caught on Camera doing the can-can in December 1985’s vintage edition!
